The Al Ringling theatre opened over 100 years ago, and has been open every since. It has an impressive and beautiful gold interior which often leaves visitors speechless. But if you go there to see live music you'll be equally impressed when the lights go down and the music starts.
The seating in the theater are wonderful and are perfectly arranged to provide excellent viewing from all angles. The theater shows vintage monthly movies, and has a fantastic sound setup.
The design of the theater is based on the Orpheum Theatre, built by Rapp and Rapp in Champaign, Illinois in 1914. The decor of the auditorium is said to have derived from Ange-Jacques Gabriel's opera house of 1763-1770 in the Palace of Versailles but some believe it to be at least equally based on Victor Louis's 1780 Grand Théâtre de Bordeaux.
It's also a great location for a wedding ceremony! You're able to rent the entire theater for your ceremony if you want to get married somewhere really special.
Make sure you visit Baraboo, Wisconsin and check out this amazing theater!
