Here is the full list:

The Handmaiden

The Handmaiden has become a bit of a cult classic in terms of Korean movie - and as you'll see from the reviews on Amazon, it is considered to be very very good too. This is from Park Chan-wook, the same director who made the action packed classic film Oldboy, so you can already tell what type of film this will be. However I would say it's a little bit less action and more tension driven, but that still makes it an exciting watch. The big yellow button on the Amazon Prime Video page shows how you can watch it with a free trial, so check it out!

The Man From Nowhere

Now we're getting more into the straightforward Korean action movies - just check out the Amazon reviews for this film, an average of 4 and a half stars from almost 1000 reviews! The Man From Nowhere is basically a revenge film, and I won't give too much away but the action is phenomenal and the reviews speak for themselves. Watch this if you're in the mood for non-stop excitement. It's ready to watch for free with an Amazon Prime 30 day trial, just cancel before the trial ends and pay nothing!

Masquerade

Masquerade is a little bit different from some of the other Korean movies we've included in this list - it's a bit slower and a bit less action orientated, but the drama and tension in this film has led it to receive huge amounts of critical acclaim. It also has a great rating on Amazon Prime. If you'd like to watch this film, you can do so for free with an Amazon Prime trial (which you can of course easily cancel without paying anything). Check it out!

Monster

Monster is another Korean revenge movie, except this time it's from the perspective of a woman who seeks revenge for the death of her sister. It's got everything you'd want from this type of Korean film - it's gruesome and action packed, plus it has a great story. You can watch it for free with Amazon Prime so check it out.

The Wailing

This Korean movie is pretty long at just over 2 and a half hours, but it's a tense supernatural thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat throughout the runtime. The Wailing is definitely a horror movie, with some violence and scares. The film is about a foreigner who disappears in the village which sparks suspicion and hysteria among the locals.

My Sassy Girl

We've had a lot of Korean horror/action movies in our list so far, so it's probably time for something a bit more light hearted - check out the movie My Sassy Girl, a Korean romantic comedy about a young couple who are navigating the weird world of love. Amazon describes it as a "classic"!

I Saw The Devil

In terms of the Korean movies we've included in this list so far, I Saw The Devil has one of the highest user rating scores over on Amazon Prime Video, with an amazing 4 and half stars from almost 500 reviews. This movie is a classic revenge story, but with a very dark twist.

The Host

The Host is a critically acclaimed monster movie from Korea, and since it was released over 10 years ago it has gone on to become a cult classic. The user rating reviews on Amazon Prime Video reflect this - 4 stars from over 400 reviews. Awesome!
