20 James Bond films are coming to Amazon Prime in November

I'm a big James Bond fan. Growing up I had them all on VHS, from Dr.No up until Die Another Die (that was a terrible film). The video cases all lined up to make a continuous image, which I thought was pretty cool at the time.

It has been a little while since I watched any of the older James Bond movies. The humble VHS died out and I didn't buy the DVD versions. More surprisingly, other than Pluto TV it seems that no major streaming service has had them available for a while. But that has all changed thanks to Amazon Prime and from November you can watch all the ones listed below.

So, which James Bond films are on Amazon Prime?

In order of release:

  • Dr. No (1962)
  • From Russia With Love (1963)
  • Goldfinger (1964)
  • Thunderball (1965)
  • You Only Live Twice (1967)
  • On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969)
  • Diamonds Are Forever (1971)
  • Live And Let Die (1973)
  • The Man with the Golden Gun (1974)
  • The Spy Who Loved Me (1977)
  • Moonraker (1979)
  • For Your Eyes Only (1981)
  • Octopussy (1983)
  • Never Say Never Again (1983) (not actually part of the James Bond series)
  • A View To A Kill (1985)
  • The Living Daylights (1987)
  • Licence To Kill (1989)
  • Goldeneye (1995)
  • Tomorrow Never Dies (1997)
  • The World Is Not Enough (1999)
  • Die Another Day (2002)

When can I watch them?

Which should I watch?

Pretty much all of the Sean Connery ones are good, Roger Moore made a few classics and the first two outings with Pierce Brosnan were decent. Personally I really enjoyed both Timothy Dalton films as they were a little darker. If you want to watch the best of Bond, check out the highest rated according to IMDB.
