If you’re based in the USA and you’re looking to stream almost all episodes of Dateline legally and for free (yes, 100% free), there’s a great method you can use right now (September 2026), here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
At the moment, you can stream all episodes of Dateline for free via Peacock Premium Plus, a service you can use for free via Prime Video with a free trial (even if you don’t have Prime Video). It’s super easy to start and cancel this free trial, and as long as you remember to cancel the Peacock Premium Plus free trial after you’ve watched the episodes and before the 7 days are over, you won’t be charged anything at all. There’s no catch – this is just a great way to stream this series for free in crystal-clear quality without any annoying pop-up ads or sketchy websites!
All you have to do is:
- head to the page for Dateline on Prime Video
- start the 7 day free trial for Peacock Premium Plus (there’s a button to do that on the page as shown in the image above)
- watch as many episodes of Dateline as you can within the 7 day period
- cancel the Peacock Premium Plus free trial before the 7 days are up (which is very easy to do within your Account settings)
- and that’s it – you just watched episodes of Dateline online in excellent quality for free without paying anything!
