If you’re based in the USA and you want to stream all of The Hunger Games movies in amazing quality for free (yes, 100% free), there’s a great legal method you can use at the moment (October 2026), here’s how to do it in a few steps:
At the moment, you can stream The Hunger Games movies for free via Lionsgate+, a service you can use for free via Prime Video with a free trial (even if you don’t have Prime Video). It’s super easy to start and cancel this free trial, and as long as you remember to cancel the Lionsgate+ free trial after you’ve watched the movies and before the 7 days are over, you won’t be charged anything at all. There’s no catch – this is just a great way to stream these movies for free in crystal-clear quality without any annoying pop-up ads or sketchy websites!
During the free trial you can watch The Hunger Games, Catching Fire, as well as Mockingjay Part 1 and Part 2, plus The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes.
All you have to do is:
- head to the Prime Video page for The Hunger Games
- start the 7 day free trial for Lionsgate+ (there’s a button to do that on the page as shown in the image below)
- watch the movies within the 7 day period
- cancel the Lionsgate+ free trial before the 7 days are up (which is very easy to do within your Account settings)
- and that’s it – you just watched The Hunger Games movies online in excellent quality for free without paying anything!
As long as you cancel the Lionsgate+ free trial before the 7 days are up, no payments will be taken, as explained on the Prime Video The Hunger Games page here.
Don’t have Prime Video? No problem!
You can do this very easily if you already have Prime Video, but even if you don’t have a Prime Video account, it’s no problem – you can still start the free trial for Lionsgate+ as long as you have an Amazon account:
As long as you don’t mind watching the movies within the 7 day period (and let’s face it, that’s really easy to do!), it’s the best way of watching the The Hunger Games movies or free right now, legally, in excellent quality, and with all the extras like subtitles. You can learn more and start the free trial on the The Hunger Games page on Prime Video here.
