If you’re based in the USA and you want to stream Midsommar in Ultra High Definition for free (yes, 100% free), there’s a great legal method you can use at the moment (September 2026), here’s how to do it in a few steps:
At the moment, you can stream Midsommar for free via HBO Max, a service you can use for free via Prime Video with a free trial (even if you don’t have Prime Video). It’s super easy to start and cancel this free trial, and as long as you remember to cancel the HBO Max free trial after you’ve watched the movie and before the 7 days are over, you won’t be charged anything at all. There’s no catch – this is just a great way to stream this movie for free in crystal-clear quality without any annoying pop-up ads or sketchy websites! All you have to do is:
- head to the page for Midsommar on Prime Video
- start the 7 day free trial for HBO Max (there’s a button to do that on the page as shown in the image above)
- watch the movie within the 7 day period
- cancel the HBO Max free trial before the 7 days are up (which is very easy to do within your Account settings)
- and that’s it – you just watched Midsommar online in excellent quality for free without paying anything!
It’s really easy to cancel the HBO Max free trial and as long as you remember to do it after you’ve watched the movie, you won’t pay anything, as explained on the Prime Video page for Midsommar.
