The Naruto Shippuden story follows after the Naruto tv series, and centers around an older and slightly more matured Uzumaki Naruto and his quest to save his friend Uchiha Sasuke from the grips of the snake-like Shinobi, Orochimaru. After 2 and a half years Naruto finally returns to his village of Konoha, and sets about putting his ambitions to work, though it will not be easy, as He has amassed a few (more dangerous) enemies, in the likes of the shinobi organization; Akatsuki.

Currently you are able to watch all 24 seasons of "Naruto Shippūden" streaming online through platforms like Hulu, fuboTV or Crunchyroll. It is also possible to buy "Naruto Shippūden" as a download through Apple iTunes, Vudu, PlayStation store or YouTube TV. But we have more options than that below!

If you’re looking to watch Naruto Shippuden online (with free or paid methods) then here are a few of the best options you can try out (I checked these as recently as July 2019):

Hulu trial + VPN trial

This option is our preferred method of watching Naruto Shippuden 100% free online.

There is an option in the top right of the Naruto Shippuden page on Hulu to watch for free with a trial – this is easily the best way to watch Naruto Shippuden online for free right now. But so you can use the trial properly, you’re gonna want to use a free VPN – we recommend ExpressVPN, which has 30 days free (and you can cancel before then so you don’t get charged). So, here are the steps you need to follow:

  1. First, get yourself a free VPN. Head to ExpressVPN, and get 30 days free. You can cancel before the 30 days is up and get your money back
  2. Next, head to the Naruto Shippuden Hulu page and start the free trial. You’ll need to make sure that your location is set to USA with ExpressVPN for this to work.
  3. Start the trial, start watching Naruto Shippuden and cancel the trial before you get charged!

Why do we recommend this approach?

  • Well, it’s legal. That’s awesome because it means you don’t get in any trouble for streaming from dodgy sites
  • The series is available in high quality on Hulu, so you can fully enjoy it
  • It supports the creators of Naruto Shippuden- the more people watching Naruto Shippuden through Hulu, the more kickback they get
  • The Hulu trial is only 7 days, but with the VPN you can do a few different trials within the 30 days.

Sound good? Give it a shot!

What are some other options for watching Naruto Shippuden online?

Crunchyroll + VPN trial

You might have heard of Crunchyroll before – it’s a pretty big and popular Anime/Manga website with a load of content on there. It’s a subscription service, however like all good streaming platforms, there is a free trial you can use. And it’s 14 days long! And because all episodes of Naruto Shippuden are on there, you basically you have 2 weeks free to watch as many as you want. That’s pretty awesome right? Well, you’ll probably want to use a free VPN for this too, just to make sure that you can actually cancel the subscription once it has ended. So here’s what you could do:

  1. Get your free VPN, we recommend ExpressVPN, and get 30 days free. You can cancel before the 30 days is up and get your money back
  2. Head to Crunchyroll and start the premium free trial. Get watching Naruto Shippuden (as much as you can/want in 2 weeks)
  3. Cancel your Crunchroll subscription + the free VPN before the 2 weeks is up, and you’re good to go!

Amazon Prime Video

The entire series is available to watch through Amazon Prime Video, and you can choose to either pay per episode or pay for the entire series in one (which works out slightly cheaper). You can’t currently watch Naruto Shippuden using a free trial of Amazon Prime Video, but you can keep an eye on it and see if that option becomes available soon!
