Assassin's Creed is a beloved game series, so there was a lot of hype around the release of this movie. I think it's fair to say that the film received mixed reviews, and despite a solid performance from Fassbender the movie didn't quite work. It was always going to be hard to translate Assassin's Creed into film, but fans of the series will probably enjoy this movie.
