Synopsis
Korengal continues from the 2010 documentary Restrepo in which journalist Sebastian Junger and British photojournalist Tim Hetherington spent a year in Afghanistan with US Troops. Korengal documents soldiers' experiences of the war in the Korengal Valley. Restrepo was a film mostly about battle, Korengal looks at the military life and experiences of those same men.
