Based on the book written by Michael Lewis (The Big Short) Moneyball is the true story of Oakland A's general manager Billy Beane and his revolutionary approach to picking a winning baseball team by using statistical analysis. With one of the lowest budgets in baseball Billy must find a new way of building a team and enlists young Peter Brand who applies analytical principles of sabermetrics to find undervalued players who score points. If the plan is successful it will change the game forever.
