It's the 14th century. During a trip to discover the cure for a curse inflicted from an attack, young Ashitaka finds himself in the middle of a raging war between the forest gods, humans and animals. As the wolf god moro and his companion Princess Mononoke come to particpate in the war, Ashitaka attempts to bring about peace.
